Moyer Properties was founded in 2008 by Greg Moyer to invest in, develop, and manage high-quality real estate assets with a long-term, value-driven approach. Before launching the firm, Greg spent 25 years at Marcus & Millichap, where he advanced from top-producing broker to regional manager and ultimately became a Managing Partner with ownership in the firm and oversight of the Midwest region.
In that role, Greg led over 200 brokers across 8 offices and was responsible for more than $10 billion in transaction volume. This role provided unmatched exposure to national market trends, underwriting discipline, and deal-level performance—shaping a sharp, execution-focused investment philosophy.
Now, with over 40 years in real estate, Greg brings the benefit of long-standing relationships built across cycles—with top brokers, lenders, and property owners nationwide. Moyer Properties strategically leverages this network to source off-market opportunities, structure favorable financing, and operate with real-time market intelligence.
Since 2008, the firm has acquired, developed, financed, and sold more than $700 million across 15 assets—for our account and alongside trusted investor partners. Our approach is defined by rigorous underwriting, hands-on asset management, and a relentless focus on downside protection and value creation.

Greg Moyer has over 40 years of experience in commercial real estate, establishing himself as a noted authority in valuation, rental and demographic trends, and brokerage throughout the Midwest. Until 2008, he served as Managing Director for the Midwest offices of the national commercial real estate firm Marcus & Millichap. In July of 2008, Greg founded Moyer Properties, Moyer Brokerage and Management, and, alongside Jeff Annenberg, co-founded Ravine Park Partners. Together, they have invested in and developed thousands of apartments and over 1.5 million square feet of commercial space.
Currently, Greg leads Moyer Properties and is actively engaged in developing numerous projects through a strategic joint venture with the Rothner Family, who manage Atied Associates and Altitude Investments. These ventures, focusing on both development and acquisitions, combine the expertise and resources of both partners to create exceptional properties, demonstrating a shared commitment to excellence and innovation in real estate.
Over the past two decades, Greg has been quoted in prominent publications, including National Real Estate Investor, Forum Magazine, Crain’s Chicago, Heartland Real Estate, and Midwest Real Estate News. He has also shared his expertise through speaking engagements with organizations such as the National Apartment Association, Chicagoland Apartment Association, Appraisal Institute, CCIM, and numerous other public and private groups. A dedicated member of the National Multifamily Housing Council and the International Council of Shopping Centers, Greg continues to influence and shape the industry with his experience and vision.
Keith Fanelli has over 20 years in of real estate development experience. Keith graduated Penn State University and started his career in retail tenant representation on a team at Melaver|Mouchet, where he developed extensive experience in helping tenants align their business, operational and real estate objectives. He later took the position of financial analyst at Marcus and Millichap, where he performed financial valuations on various single and multi-tenant commercial investments. In 2009, Keith joined Moyer Properties to oversee construction, asset management, and underwriting. After 7 successful, consecutive years in that role, Keith Fanelli became a partner in 2016.
Danny Rigoni has over 10 years of experience in commercial real estate. He’s built a career as
a problem solver for Chicago centric, entrepreneurial development and investment firms. At
Moyer Properties, he takes a hands on and collaborative approach through all initiatives including
acquisitions, development, and asset managment. Coming from a family with roots in the real
estate industry, Danny quickly discovered his passion for using real estate as a tool to build
communities and unlock urban experience. Danny is a graduate of DePaul University’s
undergraduate and graduate commercial real estate programs. He remains active at DePaul as
an undergraduate student mentor and adjunct professor. He is also an active member of ULI.
